The PGD-120 is a flexible portable system designed to easily change gases depending on the requirements. It is in a class of its own for detecting NF3 as it is designed for emergency response and survey gas detection. If not detecting NF3, it has over 25 different gases available to choose from.
A variety of signal outputs meet monitoring needs while offering customers the option of line-powered or battery-operated modes. The battery has a life of eight hours and an operating temperature range of 32°F to 104°F. Manufactured by New Cosmos, this portable gas detector has a detection range of 0-100 ppm and offers users event log storage.
The detection principle for the PGD-120 is electrochemical with a back-lit LCD display ideal for emergency response. It also has audible and visual alarms to alert users of unsafe conditions. Simple to operate, any user can easily change the target gas needing to be detected. Personnel would pull back the detector, insert the sensor, power on the device, and the PGD-120 is ready to operate.
