The FALCO 2 Explosion-Proof Gas Detector is the latest generation of fixed photoionization detectors (PIDs) from ION Science that continuously detects a wide range of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Offered in pumped or diffused sampling methods, they provide accurate detection of Total Aromatic Compounds (TAC) such as Benzene, Xylene and Toluene. FALCO 2 incorporates the world-class MiniPID 2 Photoionisation (PID) Sensor in both 10.6 eV and 10.0 eV variants to allow the detection of over 700 Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). MiniPID 2 offers additional features such as long lamp life and ease of service and maintenance. The FALCO 2 is an ideal instrument for detecting VOCs in areas such as refineries and petrochemical facilities.
